What do they do?Their subjects: Why are Keewi Photography so good? They work as team, their combined range of skills cover a very large spectrum from deeply aesthetic to ultra technical. Because of their background, they have deep understanding of their subjects. This is a new business, run in an efficient way to suit the modern times. Who is Keewi Photography? John Kehely and Patricia (Tita) Wiese both worked and trained as photographers in the early 90's. Patricia spent 4 years as right hand man to Michael Blake, one of the top commercial photographers in Dublin at the time. John was a professional portrait and wedding photographer whose high profile commissions included the sitting taoseach and his family. They moved to Cork together in 1994 and undertook the complete restoration of Farran House a large listed manor house near Cork City and then they ran it as a guest house from 1997 to 2008. During this time they concentrated on stock photography and their work was published regularly. The logical progression was to combine their knowledge of architecture, heritage buiIdings and the hotel trade with their skill as photographers. In September 2008, after years of planning they decided to launch Keewi Photography Architectural. This also happened to be the start of the recession, normally bad news, but thanks to their efficient work practices giving excellent value for money to the client, business is good, just look at their portfolio. |
